It is supposed to have a 5-rd capacity magazine but you can only get 2 rounds of 2-3/4" into the magazine. I took a quick look at it and cannot figure out how to get the plug out of the magazine. Can anyone give me some directions here?
The 601 DPS is marketed as a defensive shotgun. It is a Turkish produced “clone” of the Benelli M4. Unfortunately for this particular clone, it seems that it was take out of the test tube a little prematurely. While a solid feeling gun, it’s finish and quality of components lead my example to be a total failure in less than 100 shells.
Hello everyone I'm looking at picking up a new shotgun this weekend, torn between the Charles Daly 601 dps and the rock island vr80. If it doesn't come out of the magazine, that sounds like a weak magazine spring problem. You might try cleaning the inside of the magazine tube, but I have my doubts that will fix the problem.
